It’s been nearly a year since I last posted my go to/ favourite nude lip options (check out what I was in to then here) so thought it was about time I did it again…am I reaching for the same formulas/ shades??
I’ve been gearing my blog to be a fully cruelty free brand zone too, so all of these are CF (and Vegan actually)…both on purpose and not…CF status aside, these are just nudes I love and actually wear at the mo!
You all probably know my love for a nude lip and own more than I could count, but I’ve managed to cut it down to just a few of my most regular rotation/ most worn…or we’d be here all day!
Starting off with something that’s been a long time favourite, it did feature in the OG blogpost and is a nude lip I always go back too…Limecrime Velvetine Liquid Lipstick in Cashmere*. One of the first liquid lipstick formulas I ever tried too and I’m still a fan of its non drying, smooth liquid velvet texture and richly pigmented formula.
It’s the most perfect ‘dead girl glam’ greige shade (which I’m all about) and with it’s slight pinky undertone, works really well/ is flattering on my fair skin. Even with it being a cooler more grey tone, I love how it looks paired with a warmer smokey eye look!

Speaking of greige nudes, the LA Splash Wickedly Devine Liquid Lipstick in Fallen* is a newer formula and one which I’m most definitely a fan of! I’ve got quite a lot of LA Splash’s liquid lipsticks and this new formula is my favourite by far. You still get that LA Splash super long wear, but these are way more comfy to wear and noticeably less drying on! A slightly lighter tone than LC Cashmere, this one looks really pretty with super dark smokies on the eyeballs!

I included the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow (UK* / IE*) in the OG post (it’s still one of my all time ride or die lip products) and also one of the old Studded Kiss Lipstick formulas, but the ones I’ve been reaching for constantly since their launch last month are the new Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick formula (UK* / IE*)…specifically the super wearable and beautiful Ludwig and Bow N Arrow shades.
They apply smoothly, last really well and most importantly over the Winter months have just been more comfy on dry lips than a liquid formula! Bow N Arrow has been my signature nude for the longest time, but in this new formula I’ve been finding myself drawn to and wearing Ludwig more every (lipstick wearing) day. Cliche as it sounds, Ludwig is a true my lips but better nude shade and it goes with pretty much everything. LOVE these!

Probably no surprises here…I just wanted to put my current loves in one place as I’m always asked about what I like to use. Obviously I’m pretty pale, so these shades may not be initially universally suited…but paired with a deeper liner or gloss, I feel like anyone could make these work and rock them!
When I’m not wearing lipstick, I’ll usually just throw on a lip balm and I’m surprisingly (fellow long haired people…you’ll understand the struggle of hair stuck in gloss!) getting back in to glosses too! If you fancy getting in to gloss or are looking for something non sticky and lovely, check out NYX Butter Glosses* they come in some pretty nude shades or Dose Of Colours Gloss*…especially in the shade Undressed it’s a lush nude!
