A quick one, but a much requested one today (but worry not, I’ll be blogging a bit more over the festive season, so there’ll be more coming your way over the next few weeks). I thought I’d put together a list of a few of my top Christmas makeup and beauty picks (still available in store/ online now) for those last minute gifts, wish list ideas or even just a Merry Christmas to you, from you…self gifting at it’s best! I’ve tried to include ideas for a variety of budgets and personal styles too, hopefully something to please every beauty junkie in your life! Everything on this list is cruelty free too (and vegan in some cases). So without further a do and in no particular order…
Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Palette, £36/ €45 from Debenhams*.
A great range of neutral, wearable, everyday shades and in a variety of tones. A palette for every eye colour. The shadows themselves are highly pigmented and blend like butter!
Fairypants Vegan Cosmetics Deluxe Nail Care Gift Set, £15 from fairypants.co.uk.
A set of 5 nail care essentials, Vegan, so they contain no nasties and are gentle but effective and everything you could need! I love that it includes a matte and a gel top coat to make your nails last through the festive party season as well as creating different nail looks. There are loads more gift set options on the website if nails aren’t your thing, ranging from £10- £50. (There’s also loads of under £10 stocking filler options too!)
Fleur De Force By Eylure Lashes, £5.25- 5.95 (currently 3 for 2 also) from Boots* in store and online.
Great quality and easy to apply lashes. Plenty of style options in the range too, my personal fave are these Fleur Loves 3/4 Lashes*, that give a pretty fullness to the outer edge of the eye!
Pixi Glow Tonic Gift, £10 from M&S in larger stores and online.
100ml bottle of the cult Pixi Glow Tonic, in cute festive packaging. A must have product for anyone with a face in my opinion, haha. I have a dedicated blog post about it, read more here.
Original Beautyblender Sponge, £16 from Beautybay*.
This is one of mine and many other beauty/ makeup obsessives can’t live without beauty tool! Blends base products out effortlessly for a seamless finish. There’s so many alternatives on the market now, but this is the OG and I always go back to it!
Beauty Bay The Collection – The Molten Metals Look, £18 from Beautybay*.
Worth £27, this is a gorgeous look in a bag and a very pretty metallic makeup bag at that. Contains 2 metallic Makeup Geek Foiled eyeshadows and one of the LA Splash Lip Coutures (one of my favourite liquid lipstick formulas), as well as full step by step instructions to make the most of the products and achieve that perfect on trend metallic look. There are other versions of the look in a bag too, including a smoky one and a lip focus one if metallic’s not your thing.
Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eyeliner Pencils (x10 piece set), £56 from Beautybay*.
Speaking of Makeup Geek, this set includes the whole colour range of their highly pigmented and super soft Full Spectrum Eyeliner Pencils. From neutrals to bold brights, there’s something for everyone! These can be picked up individually too. Read my dedicated blog post and see swatches here.
Milani Stay Put Brow Colour, £8 from Beautybay*.
I love this stuff! Available in 5 shades and each little pot of eyebrow pomade comes in a pack with its own double ended angled brush and spooly. It’s waterproof and can give as much or as little definition as you want. Eyebrows are such a big thing now and this is perfect for getting them just right and super affordable. Read more about it/ see it in action here.
NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks, £6.50/ €9.25 from Boots* in store and online.
Available in 24 pigment rich shades. Waterproof, creamy, long wearing and sets to a gorgeous matte finish. The shades Sandstorm and Soft Spoken are essential neutrals and there’s plenty of bolder/ more unusual shades for experimenting with and at that price, why not!
Illamasqua Chisel & Glow Gift Set, £50 from Debenhams*.
This set contains all you need to sculpt the face and give a beautiful healthy glow. It includes a synthetic brush, perfect for blending out the Gel Sculpt Stick and the Gleam Cream (the other 2 items), which is one of my own most used Illamasqua products in my kit.
Just a few, but some really good ones that anyone would be happy to find in their stocking on Christmas morning!
