So today’s the day…unless you’ve been living under a rock or avoiding social media (which is of course ok and absolutely necessary for brain health at times!) for the last week, you’ll know that as of now (10th May 2019) Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty has landed at Boots online* and in selected Boots stores through out the UK/ Ireland. Hugely hyped at the time, Fenty Beauty initially dropped at Harvey Nichols back in September 2017 but how much easier will it be to pick stuff up from Boots…think of those Advantage Card points too!
As great as it’ll be having another Fenty stockist option, there’s still going to be that situation for those of you unfamiliar with Fenty products/ shades of confusion about what to go for without being able to see (in the flesh) and swatch…(the brand will only be available in select stores for now so let’s hope this improves down the line so there’s a Fenty near us all!)…what I would recommend is making Google your friend, search swatches and read/ watch any reviews you can. I’ve written about/ reviewed quite a few Fenty products on here and try and include comparison swatches where possible…I’ll link my most viewed Fenty post bellow, but just stick Fenty in the search bar for more products!
You can order from Boots online* and they offer next day order and collect too which is dead handy, but which Boots stores will you find Fenty in??
- Bath Southgate
- Brent Cross
- Canary Wharf
- Dudley Merry Hill
- Glasgow Braehead
- Glasgow Fort
- Hull-end May
- Leicester (Fosse Park)
- Liverpool Clayton Street
- London Sedley Place
- London St Pancras
- London White City
- Manchester Trafford Centre
- Milton Keynes
- Piccadilly Circus
- West Thurrock
So not a bad initial list back home in the UK (I’d still have to travel 40 mins to Manchester or Liverpool as before though in Harvey Nic’s from North Wales ), but I’m a little disappointed from an Ireland point of view! I’m currently based down in Cork and although it’s easy enough for me to stock up when up in Dublin (which I am often enough and Harvey Nic’s in Dundrum’s my nearest when up there anyway), I know for a lot of folk down here/ elsewhere in the country it’s not!
Fenty’s one of those brands that has more good stuff than bad in my opinion…actually, I’m yet to find anything I really don’t like. The brand is of course cruelty free and some of my faves eg. the Pro Filt’r Foundation, Matte Match Stix (love the shade Amber for fair skin contouring and use it most days!) and the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer are actually Vegan…that goes for all Fenty brushes/ tools too.
As well the the OG Lip Luminizer in Fenty Glow (above) I really like the Diamond Milk one too, it’s almost clear but with a lush looking soft sparkle through it…makes your lips look full and feel super hydrated. They smell unreal (peachy vanilla, but not overpowering just really good) and it also comes in a pinkier tone Fu$$y too…definitely worth picking one up if you haven’t already or are new to Fenty. I’m a big fan of their Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duos too, in particular the shade Lightning Dust/ Fire Crystal for my skin tone (it’s a true pearly pink flesh tone shade on my skin)…if you fancy something more gold toned Mean Money/ Hustla Baby is another beaut one. There’s two complimentary shades in the one compact, one being a soft sheen finish and the other being a supercharged more ‘blinding’ shimmer, allowing you to customise your glow depending on mood and occasion…love that and also worth a try!
I’m actually pretty well stocked at the moment, but will probably pick up one of the new Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzers at some point…they look beautiful, come in an inclusive shade range and I’ve heard really good things! Fenty Beauty’s available at Boots online* and in selective stores now!
What are your Fenty go to’s? Will you be picking anything up now it’s available at Boots?
