This week I was invited along to the Lush Spa Liverpool Halloween Blogger Event to preview the brand new Halloween 2018 product launches as well as checking out the Spa (spoiler alert: obsessed!). Of course plenty of general product perving/ playtime too and you know purchasing was going to happen!
Anyway…we had a really great evening hanging out, talking all things Lush and checking out all the new spook products and ahead of the Halloween 2018’s launch on Saturday (tomorrow as I write this). I’m not going to spend too much time chatting and instead give you a visual insider peep at the blogger event, a look around the Spa and a sneaky peaky if you haven’t spied any/ all of their new Halloween product launches yet!
As excited as I was to see/ play with all the Halloween newness, I was dying to check out the Spa so that was my first stop. Situated above the Liverpool store, you’d never think the Spa was slap bang in the middle of a buzzing city centre! So peaceful, chilled and relaxing (everything you want a spa to be) and gorgeously decked out in country cottage/ old English tea room/ apothecary style with soothing atmospheric music and lighting. Lush are definitely focusing on the Spa experience as a full sensory whole instead of just treatments…body and mind catered for completely!
I’ll link more Spa info here if you want to check out all of the treatments on offer, prices/ durations etc and products used! Treatments/ experiences would be a perfect gift idea, or just as a gift to yourself why not!
So back on to what we’re all really here for…Halloween!! Definitely one of my favourite times of year in general (especially as a Makeup Artist and even just as an all round lover of all thing spook!) and I always love to see what perfectly festive treats Lush has come up with. There’s something for every Lushie to love…bath bombs, shower gel, gift sets and soap, revisiting Halloween past and plenty of the brand new!
Loads of Bath Bomb demo-ing going on at the event, including the Jelly Bomb Ectoplasm one (bellow) which smells so good…uplifting tangerine and grapefruit, I’d forgotten how much I love the scent of this, yum!
Speaking of Ectoplasm…we also have a shower gel (comes in the usual 3 sizes) and also in the naked solid shower gel form which is great if you’re trying to cut down on packaging! My Halloween favourite scent of the night has got to be the Ghost In The Dark soap . I’m obsessed with Bergamot Oil (love that Earl Grey tea esq aroma) and along with Lemongrass, it’s the perfect combo for me. Super moisture giving Cocoa butter and extra virgin coconut oil…love!
Thanks so much to LUSH Cosmetics and LUSH Spa Liverpool for inviting me to the Halloween Blogger Event and Spa staff for all their expert knowledge and being all round perf hosts! Let me know what your 2018 Halloween picks are, drop me a comment (and most likely enable me to pick up more!)!
